I. Reseller Purchase Credit Claim Terms
Plain-English summary: What proof is required for an authorised-reseller purchase and how claims and duplicate checks are handled.
1. Eligibility and submission
You must be signed into the Benchdogs customer account that will receive any award. Claims must relate to qualifying Benchdogs products bought from an authorised reseller during an eligible programme. Provide a readable invoice or receipt showing reseller, purchase date, product, quantity, price, VAT where relevant and purchaser identity. You confirm that the information and evidence are genuine, complete and accurate and that you are entitled to use them for the claim.
2. Value and review
Qualifying value is the approved Benchdogs merchandise value after discounts, returns and refunds, excluding VAT and shipping. Non-GBP claims require manual valuation. A difference between the account name and purchaser or company name may require further evidence. Submission does not guarantee approval; we may request information, approve a lower evidenced value or reject an ineligible, unreadable, duplicate or misleading claim and explain the reason where appropriate.
3. Duplicate prevention and award
Invoice fingerprints and claim data are checked against earlier claims, including claims by another customer. A suspected cross-customer duplicate is held for review rather than automatically awarded. An approved claim creates one ledger award exactly once, even if a request is retried. Credits have no cash alternative and follow the disclosed campaign scope and expiry.
4. Evidence, fraud and complaints
Evidence is stored privately with restricted staff access for assessment, duplicate prevention, audit and disputes. The retention period must be owner-approved and stated in the Privacy Notice before production. We may refuse or reverse an award obtained through fraud or materially misleading evidence and may suspend related access while investigating. This does not affect statutory rights. Contact contact@benchdogs.co.uk to challenge a decision.
