G. Beta Testing Terms
Plain-English summary: The additional conditions and cautions that apply to controlled pre-release access.
1. Beta access
Beta access is invitation-only, personal to the invited Benchdogs Shopify customer account and may have an access or claim expiry shown in the invitation. Do not transfer or publish the secure invitation. We may pause or revoke access for security, misuse, campaign closure or material breach.
2. Pre-release service
Beta features are unfinished and may contain errors, change, reset or become unavailable. A feature tested in beta is not a promise that it will launch. Save important information and report unexpected behaviour. Do not use a beta output for manufacture unless the workflow expressly permits it and you complete the enhanced verification requirements.
3. Beta credits and packs
Beta Design Credits have no cash value. Their quantity, scope and expiry are stated in the campaign. Pack generation may be tested, but a test credit or successful download does not certify manufacturing suitability. Normal revision-bound verification and tool, material, hardware and site checks still apply.
4. Feedback and confidentiality
You may submit comments, ratings, screenshots and support information. You give us permission to use that feedback to diagnose, test and improve Benchdogs services, without transferring ownership of unrelated project intellectual property. We will not publish your identity, project or comments as a testimonial without separate permission. If an invitation identifies features as confidential, do not disclose those unreleased details until they are public or we release you from the obligation.
5. Privacy, rights and support
We process beta participation, activity, feedback and support data as explained in the Privacy Notice. These terms do not exclude statutory consumer rights or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Contact contact@benchdogs.co.uk for beta support.
